Here is a film clip from Indra Nooyi who is the Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer of PepsiCo. about the struggles she has with the "B-word" reality (Balancing Work and Family). 

Notice how she grapples with guilt, identifying with her kids needs, and then being humorous about what she needs as a woman and what her daughters' school activities plan.  

What is balance when a workplaces demand our attention, schools want parents engaged during school hours, and there is work, home, relationships, money, health, spirit and body needs that need tending as well?  There isn't a clear path or a scale that creates the esteemed "balance" of the opposites.  Rather, we have to redefine how much of our responsibilities and ourselves we can attend to at any given time and decide when to integrate, when to give 100% and most of all when "good enough" is the perfect answer!  What do you think after viewing this?
